Show of solidarity at India Gate (29/11/2009)

A group of 24 children of Prayas Welfare School participated in the event “Nation in Solidarity” organized by the ministry of Home affairs at India Gate on 29/11/09.
L.Subramanyam, Kavita Krishnamurthy and Shankar Mahadevan performed here. Shahrukh Khan, Sania Mirza, Abhhinav Bindra,Javed Akhtar, Nandita Das, Home Minister, Sh. P. Chidambram, Rahul Gandhi, M.P., Chief Minister of Delhi, Smt. Sheela Dikshit also graced the occasion.

UPS Jet Air Express Pvt. Ltd, an international organisation in logistics located at Okhla, N. Delhi organized volunteerism day on 11.10.2009 at D.C. Model Sr. Sec. School Sec.- 9, Fbd. with students of Prayas Welfare School. Sh. Satvinder Singh, Country Transport Manager (GM north east), Sh. Stephen Rose, Senior Manager North operation along with their team of 150 employees volunteered the event by organising sports & musical activities.

Opening of Regional Office and Vocational Training Centre at Kosikalan, Mathura (10/10/09)

Bhoomi Pujan of the main Building was performed by Sh.Pawan Kumar Gupta an Industrialist and Social activist & Sh. Ram Kumar Gupta Bhuapur Wale a philanthropist and social service activist on 07/04/2009 at 9.30 am in presence of Sh. M.L.Gupta founder Chairman, Sh Pawan Kumar Gupta, Sh. Rakesh Gupta, Dr.Rakesh Gupta, Dr. Raj Kumar Aggerwal, Mr.Ved Shangle, C.R. Gupta , Sh.H.S.Malik, Sh.J.P.Malhotra, Sh. Arun Bajaj, Shri Gautam Chaudhary etc. all the office bearers of Prayas SWS. The sweets& snacks packs were also distributed in the end. .

Hearing aid gifted to 86 year old widow (29/09/2009 )

Hearing aid apparatus was provided by Prayas SWS to 86 year old lady, Smt. Damayanty Devi, by Ms. Usha Verma, Principal Aditya Army Public School, in the presence of Sh. M. L. Gupta, Founder Chairman, Sh. Pawan Kumar Gupta, Gen.Sec., Shri. Tanuj Chathrath, Chairman, Health Committee, on 29/9/2009. She was brought by Mr. Ravinder Gupta in ENT Check up Camp of Prayas SWS.

Free ENT and Dental Check Up Camp (27/09/2009)

In commemoration of ten years of service to the society, ENT & Dental check up camp was organized on 27.09.2009 by Paryas SWS in association with Rotary club of Faridabad industrial town and Sarvodya hospital Faridabad. Sh. R.C. Gupta, Managing Director of RPS group was the Chief Guest, Sh. T. C. Dhawan, President, Rotary club of Faridabad, Industrial town presided over the function. Blood Donation Camp organized by Prayas SWS ( 13/09/2009 )

Blood Donation Camp was organized on 13/9/2009 by Prayas SWS in association with Art of Living & Rotary Blood Bank, Rotary Club, Faridabad, Industrial Town. Sh. Pushpinder Chouhan, ADC, Gurgaon, was the chief guest who inaugurated the camp. Sh.Y. Harishanker (Retd.) IPS was the special guest of honour. 115 units of blood were collected.

As a part of training and development activities, PRAYAS teacher's seminar is held on 7th of each Month at D.C.Model Sr. Sec. School.

Free Eye Check Up Camp was held by Prayas SWS on 6/9/09 at D.C. Model Sr. Sec. School, Sector-9, Faridabad in association with Mahajan Sabha FBD, Venu Eye Hospital and Lions Club of FBD. Sh. Naginder Singh, IAS (Retd) and former Principal secretary to Govt of UP, and Chairman Sant Kour Memorial Trust Delhi was the chief guest President Lion Club Mr. S.C.
