Chasma Mukti Shivir from 24-5-2010 to 1-6-2010

Chasma Mukti Shivir has been organised for 9days from 24-5-2010 to 1-6-2010 from 5.15 to 7.15. (Morning & Evening) at Aggarwal Sewa Sadan, Bharat Vikas Parishad, D.C. Model Sr. Sec. School, Art of Living and Prayas Social Welfare Society.
Acharya Aman Singh Ji is the Guiding force behind this camp. Under his directions people are learning various exercises, which will help them even to remove their specs. More than 175 people, including children, men and women are attending the camp.

Sh. M.L. Gupta, Founder Chairman inaugurated the camp. In his inaugural address he congratulated all the coordinating agencies for organizing such a camp and then to Acharya ji for his continuous guidance and help the people for their good health and to make them to remove their specs.

Presentation of Cultural Programme at KIDS FASHION SHOW (16.05.2010)

Prayas Welfare school children presented a cultural programme during KIDS FASHION SHOW organised by VISWAS EVENT MANAGEMENT Company of Faridabad on 16.05.2010 at 7 pm at open theatre of town park, Faridabad.

The following children participated in the DANCE programme under the guidance of music teacher Sh mukesh tanwar. Madam sarita gaekward headmistress vocational programme was one of the judges to declare best performers.

Sh Naveen (Manager), Sh. G.D. Aul (C.E.O), Madam Priya were also present in the function.

Dental Check up Camp (14/5/2010)

Dental check up camp for Prayas Children in Association with Dr. Ruchi Pathak Kaul of Ghai Hospital was organised on 14/5/2010 at 3.00p.m. at D.C. Model Sr. sec. School Sector-9 Faridabad and also at NCLP school sector-7, Dental Check up of 200 number of children was done at D.C. M. s. and 150 number of children at Prayas Welfare School at Govt. High School Sector-7 running under NCLP.

URDU Dost at Hotel Raj Mahal- Neelam Bata Road, Faridabad. ( 24-04-2010)

URDU Dost a registered social organisation of Faridabad honoured Sh. M.L. Gupta Founder Chairman with a certificate and a shawl for his contribution in providing free education to children of Prayas Welfare Schools who belong to the economically weaker section of the society.

The function was organised by the Urdu Dost on the occasion of Pandit Madan Mohan Samman Samaria dt: 24-04-2010 at Hotel Raj Mahal- Neelam Bata Road, Faridabad.

Annual function of Prayas Social Welfare Society (Regd.) (10-04-2010)

Prayas Social Welfare society (Regd.) H.O. D.C. Model Sr. Sec. School Sector-9 Faridabad organized its annual function on 10-04-2010 and books, copies, writing material, school bags, shoes, socks, ties, belts were distributed free of cost to around 6000 children who are getting free education from 43 Prayas Welfare Schools(Centres)

Sh. Shadi lal Batra, Member of Parliament (Rajysabha) was the chief guest. Kr. Sharda Rathor, chief parliamentary secretary of Haryana state presided over the function. Sh. B.R. Ojha, president Distt congress committee Faridabad, Smt Sushila Gupta Educationist

Crown Group of Companies, were the special guest of honor. Sh. Ram kumar ji Gupta, Bhuapur wale , Sh. Ten Lac from M.P. Fund and Kumari Rathore chief parliamentary secretary declared donation of Rs. 5 Lac from the govt. fund both appreciated the efforts being make by Prayas SWS in boosting the level education amongst the economically weaker section of the society and in turn helping govt. in its task.

Distribution of uniforms / School Bags at Prayas Welfare School at S.R. Public School SGM Nagar Faridabad (4/4/2010)

Prayas welfare school at S.R. Public School though was set up on 7-12-2009 but the formal function was organised on 4-4-2010 where school bags uniforms were distributed.

Sh. Ishwari Lal Parssad, ward No.-18 (Bodhkal Bidhan Sabha) was chief guest.

Sh. Govind Ram Tewetia Retired Head Master Presided over the function and Sh. Bijender Deswal, Sh. Shiv Ram Sharma and Sh. Basiree Khan were the special guest of honour in the Annual function of S.R. Public School on behalf of Prayas Social Welfare society G.D. Aul CEO Sh. Naveen Manager and Madam Priya School teacher were present school uniforms and bags were distributed by Sh. Ishwari Lal Ji Smt Basirikhan Sh. G.D. Aul to 54 children.

Free Health Checkup Camp(20/02/2010)

We organized a free health check up camp on 20.2.2010 for the children of Prayas Welfare School located at Shanti Niketan Senior Secondary School, Sainik Colony, Faridabad.

Doctor Anuj Dhingra and his team of doctors of royal multi specialty hospital conducted the camp for health check up of children and their parents and checked 350 persons.

Sh. Satish Phagna, Chairman, Distt. Congress Committee, Faridabad, B.C and OBC was Chief Guest and Sh. Sanjiv Kushwaha, Gen. Secretary, Maharaja, Agarsain Bivah Samiti was the guest of honor.

Blood Donation Camp (19/12/2009)

Under the Health Care activities of Prayas Social Welfare Society a Blood Donation Camp was organized in collaboration with blood bank Sant Bhagat Singh Ji Maharaj Charitable Hospital managed by Rotary Blood Bank, Faridabad, CMO B.K Hospital and Rotary Club Mid Town Faridabad was held on 19.12.2009 at A.D Senior Secondary School, Dabua Colony.

The camp was inaugurated by the chief guest Pt. Shiv Charan Sharma state Minister and Revenue and Disaster Management Haryana. The chief guest appreciated the working of Prayas Social Welfare Society and also declared donation of Rs. 51,000 to the society through state welfare funds. A total no. of 27 units of blood was collected during the camp.

Visit of Indian Born Candian Couple( 15/12/2009 )

Sh. Ravi Verma and Mrs. Sheila Verma visited Prayas Welfare School on 15.12.09 at D.C Model Senior Secondary School at 3:30pm. They interacted with a number of children of each class. They were very impressed with the discipline and level of confidence of children. Sh. Verma delivered a talk to 5th or 9th class children and inspired them to study hard and work hard to achieve something tangible in the life.

Thereafter the couple was welcomed by Sh. M.L Gupta founder chairman, Sh. Pawan Kumar, General Secretary and other executive of Prayas by offering bouquets and flowers.

Sh. Verma while appreciating the over all working of the society assured to find out the possibility of association with Prayas Social Welfare Society and Canadian Society for Social Welfare.

Formal Opening of Prayas Welfare School at Noida ( 05/12/2009 )

The formal opening of the school was done on 5.12.09. Sh. Amit Khemka, Advocate (Supreme Court) was the chief guest, Sh. Rakesh Gupta, Principal of Swami Vivekananda School was the special guest of honor and Sh. Jagdish Pradhan presided over the function.

Formal opening of Prayas Welfare School at Good Luck Public School, Uttam Nagar, New Delhi ( 01/12/2009 )

The formal opening of the school was done on 1.12.09. Sh. Layak Ram Pradhan was the chief guest and Sh. Anil Kumar, Principal of Good Luck Public School presided over the function. Sh. M.L Gupta, founder chairman welcomed all the guests and apprised them about the background and working of our society in the social sector.

Sh. Pawan Kumar Gupta, general secretary proposed vote of thanks and also distributed winter uniform to all the children.
